They return to Sodor after, at the Rescue Center, conveniently. When Whiff and Percy go through the tunnel at the exact same time that Edward, Gordon and James are heading to Misty Island, they stop at the blocked track, where Thomas and the Logging Locos are. WHY?! Why send engines to the island when there's a Rescue Center?! The Fat Controller sends three of his engines, being Edward, Gordon, and James, on a boat. The score is overall decent, but the actual film is terrible. This movie sucks on so many levels, it's not even funny. ![]() The whole movie is a complete shit-show, and doesn't deserve to exist, but here it is. The whole concept of the physical Misty Island in the movie is SO broken, and doesn't make any logical sense. ![]() The script was written by then-script writer Sharon Miller, and the film was directed by Nitrogen Studios CEO Greg Tiernan. Misty Island Rescue is an atrocious piece of trash that HiT Entertainment ever produced. ![]()
